Lucidity have been Virtual Desktop & Application specialists since we were established in 2003.

Our first Virtual Desktop solution, Managed Desktop, was delivered using Citrix v1.0 and Windows 2000! This was the early days of Virtual Desktop and a very pioneering time. Not long after our success in Virtual Desktop, we leverage our New Zealand based datacentres to deliver multi-tenant solutions for Dynamics CRM, Exchange, SharePoint and Skype for Business (originally named Office Communications Server and Lync) – this was before Office 365 or ‘Cloud’ existed, but the goals are the same – provide cost effective access to Microsoft applications over the internet and without the need for servers.

These days we continue to lead the way in delivering Cloud Managed IT Services to our customers. The Microsoft Cloud has become a vastly comprehensive platform for business IT needs, and our latest service offerings are built leveraging their scale, resiliency and security – Our Virtual Desktop skills have transferred to Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop and Intune, and our multi-tenant applications to Microsoft Office 365.

Lucidity has many long tenure staff (including our 3 directors) with experience in building datacentre solutions – this gives us deep knowledge of how the ‘Cloud’ really works, because the Cloud is really just someone else’s datacentre that delivers an application or service over the internet.

We have also heavily embedded Cyber Security into all of our Project and Managed IT Services and gained ISO/IEC 27001 certification to show our commitment to ensuring our customers information and data is protected.
