My Lucidity integration into your organisation
My Lucidity uses the Portal 365 technology from Cloud Radial, a US based provider of MSP platforms.
For integration with your organisation, Lucidity registers two enterprise applications in your Microsoft Entra ID so you can sign in and use the portals functionality.
These applications are read-only and can’t make any changes to your M365 system settings. They help the portal trend system usage and provide reporting.
If you are a managed customer where we look after your devices, there is also a Windows agent that we install to provide device reporting and auditing.
Authentication
The My Lucidity portal uses Microsoft Single Sign On with your Microsoft 365 credentials like most of Lucidity’s services. This means you do not have to maintain a separate username and password for this service.
For this single sign-on service, an Enterprise Application called CloudRadial (User Logins) is registered in your M365 Entra ID.
Microsoft 365 Tenant Information
The portal connects to your M365 tenancy using an Enterprise Application called CloudRadial (Admins). This application is a read-only application that can access information about your users and M365 services.
A list of the permissions this application has in your tenancy is listed below:
Windows Device Agent
The portal provides a Windows agent that runs silently in the background and keeps the portal up to date on device health, security and system information. It is read-only and does not make any changes to your device.
If the client can’t connect with the internet, it does not error or cause any issue. As a managed Lucidity device customer, we will use our device management systems to roll this software out as an application update so you can take advantage of My Lucidity’s endpoint reporting.
