Lucidity has recently provided support to Accelerating Aotearoa, an independent and established charitable entity that focuses on increasing digital capability in underserved communities, where it is most needed.
“Our goal is to connect young people, families and the whole community to the digital world by showing hands-on how digital tools fit in everyday life. We believe digital tools directly impact success in education and access to skilled work,” explains Judy Speight, Founder and Chief Executive of Accelerating Aotearoa.
Lucidity gifted PC monitors that have been used in the setup of a new community ‘Innovation Space’ at the organisation’s facility in south Auckland. “We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Lucidity for the most generous gifts of PC monitors for our fit out at Ōtara”, says Judy.
Colin Williams, General Manager at Lucidity, comments that the company’s mission is to empower customers to achieve more through providing simple IT solutions and an important element of this mission is linked to people learning computing skills. “We care about the important role that technology can play in developing opportunities for underserved communities in New Zealand and we are delighted that we can contribute to the efforts of Accelerating Aotearoa”, says Colin.
