Now in its eighth year, the annual Microsoft Partner Awards event recognises excellence in the IT sector from within the Microsoft partner network. It recognises those who integrate Microsoft solutions into their products and services to accelerate innovation and go above and beyond customer expectations.
In congratulating all finalists and winners, Brent Kendrick, Microsoft New Zealand’s SMB and Partner Director, noted the impressive range of entries for the 2015 Awards, which saw a significant increase in the number of partners who had never competed before.
“Lucidity demonstrated leadership in an innovative and positive partnership with Microsoft, clearly aligning its business strategy with Microsoft’s cloud transformation, incorporating Office 365, Azure and Lync solutions as part of their service offering,” Kendrick says.“Lucidity’s video case study on FreshMax provides a refreshing insight to their positive and successful working relationship with their customers.”Lucidity worked closely with Microsoft throughout 2014, this included supporting the Microsoft Modern Biz roadshow across New Zealand at six events, and in providing real-world solutions that were aligned with Microsoft’s strategy and vision.
Colin Williams, General Manager of Lucidity said “Winning the partner of the year award is a fantastic achievement for Lucidity, the team has worked incredibly hard over the past 12 months and it’s great to be recognised for our innovation and partnership.”
“Throughout 2014, we have seen triple digit growth in our NZ hosted Lync solution. This is being enjoyed by all sorts of businesses that were previously unable to afford the cost and complexity of owning Lync infrastructure and we expect this strong growth to continue through 2015. Lucidity differentiates from traditional Managed Service Providers, as where the majority of old school IT company’s business models are based on “Reinventing Intellectual Property” for each customer, Lucidity’s flagship Managed Desktop service removes the need for costly architecture, hardware, support and complex WANs and eliminates the ‘IT IP’ cost with a fully hosted, fully managed desktop.”
Microsoft’s recent launch of Remote Desktop Services in Azure in America, and testing Skype for Business calling in Office 365 further validates the Lucidity solution Portfolio. Lucidity offers a home grown version of Azure Remote Desktop Services and Skype for Business safely in New Zealand that is comparable to what the best in the market are offering in America.
