Lucidity will be ending support for Windows 7 Devices on the 30th of September 2019. This may result in Windows 7 devices being unable to connect to Lucidity services such as Managed Desktop.
This is in preparation for the end of Microsoft’s extended support for Windows 7 Devices which ends on the 14th of January, 2020. (Mainstream support for Windows 7 ended in January 2015)
This means there will be no further bug fixes or security patches from Microsoft for Windows 7, making it a serious security vulnerability for businesses that continue to run this operating system.
Lucidity have been working with our customers that still run Windows 7 devices over the past few months to identify a path to migrate to Windows 10. If you are running a Windows 7 device and have not yet discussed how to proceed to Windows 10, please contact your Account Manager as soon as possible to begin that discussion. We are here to help.
Thanks,
The Lucidity Team
